Hi I’m Jake a metocean (waves, currents, tides & marine weather) expert with almost 20 years experience helping wind farm developers design, build and operate offshore wind farms.

I`m a numbers guy who loves the sea and has an unhealthy fascination with the shipping forecast.

I am great at 3 things:

1) Gathering the data needed to help projects make the best use of the weather information early.

2) Analysing that data to identify the weather issues where optimisation yields the best outcome.

3) Turning complex science into simple narratives.
